The City of Grande Prairie is the largest city in Northwest Alberta. Its distance from other major centres makes it the strategic hub for regional trade and commerce. The highways network to and from Grande Prairie is essential to the area’s economy, providing access to Northern Alberta, Northeast British Columbia and the Centre East portion of Alberta.
